The final revision of the Cupcake (before becoming the Bunker model Vanguard)
The H3 Cupcake (in-game name: Initiate Vanguard) was a mech given to Hawken players who participated in the Vanguard Initiative. After the initiative ended, the Cupcake was replaced with the modern Bunker model Vanguard and became available to all players.
The Cupcake has identical stats to the Vanguard, but unlike it, it has no alternate primary weapon unlocks. By ranking up, the pilot unlocks parts of the "Cupcake Elite" chassis. A special "Cupcake Jaffa" upper chassis was also introduced.
Despite the Cupcake and Vanguard being technically the same mech, playing with the Cupcake can never unlock Vanguard specific service awards.
